VT Consulting Group Fundraising Event – Wheels of Joy: Christmas Charity Gala
December 14th, 2024
We organized and hosted an intimate gala to support the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Strathcona Community Policing Center, raising funds, collecting toy donations, and increasing awareness for the important causes. With more than 15 vendors and partners, we provided our 100 guests with an evening of exceptinal entertainment, gourmet food and curated drinks.

Down Syndrome Resource Foundation – “Run Up for Down Syndrome”

We joined “Run Up for Down Syndrome” to raise over $240,000 and awareness for Down Syndrome Resource Foundation to support people living with Down syndrome and their families with individualized and leading-edge educational programs, health services, information resources, and rich social connections so each person can flourish in their own right.

Vancouver Police Foundation – Gala 2024 “Above & Beyond”

We assisted Strathcona Community Policing Center to helped out Vancouver Police Foundation Gala 2024 “Above & Beyond” alongside our Community Policing Center volunteers, Vancouver Police Foundation staff, and Vancouver Police Department civilians to raised over $2.847 million, which will go a long way in supporting various programs aimed at enhancing the well-being of citizens.

Strathcona Community Policing Center – Justice System Workshop

We assisted Strathcona Community Policing Center to collaborating with Justice Education BC., provide learning experience for the staff, volunteers, and Board members. We visited the BC Criminal Court and Downtown Community Court, delving deeper into our justice system and we had the unique opportunity to engage with a judge, posing questions to our esteemed role model.

VPD Women’s Personal Safety Workshop

We assisted Strathcona Community Policing Center volunteered for the VPD Women’s Personal Safety Workshop from VPD’s Women’s Personal Safety Team (WPST) which offering females aged 16 and older to the program at no cost. The goal of the WPST is to educate, inspire, and empower women to take ownership of their personal safety.

Vancouver Police Remembrance Day Event

We had the honor of assisting Strathcona Community Policing Center in participating and volunteering for the Vancouver Police Remembrance Day event. This solemn occasion is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed in the line of duty. Our involvement in this event reflects our deep respect and gratitude for the police officers who work tirelessly to keep our community safe.

Vancouver Police Department (VPD) – Family Day

We had the privilege of assisting the Strathcona Community Policing Centre in volunteering and hosting the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) Family Day. This special event was designed to provide an educational and engaging experience for VPD members and their families with informative sessions, interactive activities, and family-friendly entertainment.

Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra (VMO) – Golf Tournament

We proudly joined the annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra (VMO). This prestigious event, covered by Iconic Concierge Vancouver magazine, brought together community members, business leaders, and music enthusiasts to support the VMO’s mission of fostering musical excellence and providing performance opportunities for emerging artists.

Children Cancer Research Program – “Kick for Cure”

We worked with Michael Cuccione Foundation to raised funds for the “Kick for a Cure” event to focused on bettering childhood cancer treatments at the BC Children’s Hospital, which also aims to give new hope to children and families to not only survive cancer but live normal and healthy lives after treatments.

United Nations Association in Canada – Building Young Entrepreneurs Program

We participate and assist in the Building Young Entrepreneurs Program, implemented by the United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada), which equips young individuals with essential skills for success. Our involvement demonstrates our commitment to fostering future leaders and innovators while supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Quality Education, Reduce Inequality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Partnership For The Goals.

Founders Boost – Venture Capital Pre-Accelerator Mentorship Program
March 2021 – August 2021
We contributed approximately 10 hours a week for 14 weeks per program, supporting marketing, fundraising, press, and investor relations for Founders Boost, which included outreach to VC funds, angel investors, Seed and VC/Scale stage startups, and sponsors. We also developed mentorships for the program and engaged in program management activities to help early-stage founders take the best next step in building their companies.

43rd Federal General Elections
August 2019 – October 2019
We collaborated with a campaign team and support a Member of Parliament (MP) candidate during the 43rd Federal General Elections in a Vancouver riding. We closely engage with our MP candidate and industry leaders, striving to contribute to the best possible outcome. I’m eagerly anticipating future opportunities to delve deeper into Canadian politics!

City Hall Series / BC United – Seniors and COVID-19 Panel Discussion

We participated in the Regional City Hall series with Vancouver Coastal Health hosted by the leader of BC United Shirley Bond and Isobel Mackenzie to address the senior population, wellness, COVID-19 data, and challenges during the pandemic to discuss on how to support them with a more effective and efficient system and prevent the spread of communicable diseases.

Doctors Without Borders – RUTF Program
January 2019 – Present
We are long-term donors supporting malnutrition schemes and therapeutic food (RUTF) Program in Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to help children who are starving. These products are essential for filling the energy, macro- and micronutrient, and essential fatty acids gap for targeted beneficiaries and preventing acute malnutrition, particularly in emergencies or situations where local foods cannot meet nutritional requirements. Our commitment to MSF’s RUTF program reflects our dedication to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable children worldwide.

Battered Women’s Support Services – “My Sister’s Closet”
November 2018 – April 2019
We joined the “My Sister’s Closet” program and participate in day-to-day operations on a fixed weekly date, helping organize fundraising and raise awareness. Working with the team, we raise an average of CA$40,000 per month for Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS), which provides support and advocacy for women who have experienced abuse. The long-term goal is to eliminate all violence against women and promote equality for all women.

Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon – “A Night to Dream Gala”
October 11st, 2018
Leading a team for an auction fundraising event “A Night to Dream Gala”, we successfully raised more than CA$480,000 for Ronald McDonald House BC (RMH BC). The funds raised at the gala will support RMH BC in providing essential services and accommodations for families with children undergoing medical treatment, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

Covenant House Vancouver – “Thank-A-Thon Program”

We volunteered at Covenant House Vancouver for the “Thank-A-Thon Program”, reaching out to donors to raise awareness and express appreciation for their contributions in supporting youth experiencing homelessness.

International China Concern (ICC) – “Walk the Wall”

We helped out the fundraising walkathon that involving approximately 300 people and raising CA$121,641.32 to support the orphanages, group homes, and outpatient services managed by International China Concern (ICC) to develop social welfare services for the care of abandoned and disabilities children.

Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon – “Fix Auto Fall Carnival”

We helped out a fundraising event as a third-party sponsor, raising funds with Fix Auto matching the funds for Ronald McDonald House BC (RMH BC). The funds raised at the gala will support RMH BC in providing essential services and accommodations for families with children undergoing medical treatment, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

BC Children’s Hospital Foundation – “Whitecaps 50/50”
September 23rd, 2018
We participated multiples whitecaps events to raise funds and awareness for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Additionally, I led a team for the 50/50 tickets at Vancouver Whitecaps FC home matches, where the match had a jackpot of CA$28,055, resulting in CA$14,027.50 raised for BC Children’s Hospital.

BC Sports Hall of Fame – “Golf Classic”
September 18th, 2018
We participated with a team and assisted in coordinating the “Golf Classic,” an annual golf tournament aimed at raising awareness and funds for the BC Sports Hall of Fame. The event educates and inspires attendees with a collection of over 28,000 artifacts representing 150 years of sporting accomplishments, encouraging future generations to pursue their dreams.

Taiwan Fund for Children and Families – “Foreign Children Sponsorship Program”
2014
Through the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), we participated in the “Foreign Children Sponsorship Program” by adopting a 7-year-old girl from Ethiopia in 2014. The adoption process involves supporters providing one-to-one assistance to specific foreign children in need. Beyond regular monthly donations, adopters can foster a deeper connection by exchanging letters, receiving annual progress reports, or sending gifts to support the children and their families’ improvement.
